Hey all lovelies
Saw the surgeon today as I was actually in her building to deliver to another specialist so got the results.
Shows calcification (which is good cause they got the right area), no signs of malignancy but does show a mucounis area which again, could be something or could be nothing.
With the world falling apart around us there is a small window before midnight on Wednesday to get “semi urgent” surgeries done so on Tuesday I’m having a rather unpleasant hookwire put in before having a biopsy under GA to remove the area.
She said she would normally do it within the next couple of months (which heartens me with lack of panic, I think she more saw my panic) but who knows what is happening with the health system in 2 months.
Understandably very anxious and stressed but if it wasn’t for my history this would of never of been picked up as it can’t be felt.
Just wanted to let u all know. As u can imagine it’s a terrible sense of déjà vu and I’m worried I will be on this roller coaster again when everyone thought I was done, dusted and cured.
Trying to be as positive as I can but it can be tough sometimes.
