- LMK74MemberAnnedipa, you are so right. Knowing what you're in for makes it harder for the subsequent treatments. I want to quit already, its so vile a.c. . I can barely get food or fluids down due to gross taste of everything. Tried some red cordial yesterday and nearly puked because it looked like the red devil stuff. Down the sink it went lol.
- AnnedipaMemberKeep up the fluids...and ginger beer helps with the nausea...or ginger tea. I found the worst part about going in for the second round of AC was knowing how crap it felt the first time. Hang in there & take care ❤ Anne

It is tough going, I did 4 FEC which is the red devil like AC, My team told me how I was on the first round dictates how you will be throughout. I unfortunately was drug sensitive, anti nausea meds didnt work at all, 2nd,3rd and 4th FEC ended up transferred for 2 days to hospital on a drip which helped alot, but still hard, was down for 10 days each time. Taxol I did 8, it was different but still hard and all I could take was panadol osteo and nurofen for pain relief. You absolutely will get through, but have zero expectations and just do what you want to do, this is your time, put you first you will get there, I promise. Hugs Melinda xo - Janny54MemberI felt more tired on my second A/C. Had the 3rd of 4 today. See how we go on this one. Thankfully have had no sickness the meds have been working well for me.
Hang in there Katherine.
Xxxx Your body is working hard trying to deal with this new assault, so try to give yourself time to adjust. Going through chemo is tough, no wonder we all feel sorry for ourselves at times. You'll get there!
- Brenda5MemberGet heaps of rest and you will come good. Did you know dogs and cats sleep on and off for 16 hours in every 24? I think I have gone close at times to their routines lol.
- primekMemberJust rest if you need. Keep up the fluids and be kind to you. It is hard chemo but soon you will feel better. Kath x
- LMK74MemberKatherine H, I'm also on my second round of ac chemo. First round I was flat on my back for ten days from fatigue. It totally sucks. I'm day2 after this second round and feel icky. I already done the 12 paclitaxel and did ok on it.
Lisa x - TennilleMember@KatherineH Hang in there hun. Easier said than done some days, I know but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
- KatherineHMember@Tennille fingers crossed it's the same for me.
