Exceptional livid

I may be banned for saying the truth I don't care I plan on being an advocate and addressing real issues we need to get Australian hospitals on par it's incredible what some women go through and distressing that we all have to be bigger warriors some of our hospitals are 2 to 3 years behind the rest surely we should be advanced and every hospital should have the education and the advancement instead of the policies this isn't a walk in the park for any of us but it could be made easier yes I'm alive greatful but my goodness as soon as I have the energy watch out I fully intend to challenge the system for every new woman man way too many

  • I was quite shocked at the variation of treatment I see my team every 4 months still and it's 4 years down the track , some ladies I know only have 1 follow up per year, amazing the different treatment.

  • Hi Allsopt ( you really must give us your first name, even a nick name, I feel so rude using your ?last name), guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I live on the Gold Coast & have a shiny new hospital with all the mod cons and treatment for free. Must be hard for those living country wanting treatment near family. No wonder so many women travel to stay near a larger centre. My wish for you, dear friend, is that when you are finished treatment you use your energy to enjoy life, whatever that looks like for you, Trace??

  • I have noticed vastly different treatments between women on this forum depending on areas of location. Thank goodness for the internet at least there remoter areas can log on to the newer updated versions of treatment. Its a hard ask, either work flat out on ridiculously long shifts or take time off to get updated on the latest treatments. Then there needs to be time off for family time as well or what is a medical career for?
