Hi I am newly diagnosed and starting chemo Monday and hormone treatment at the same time on this trial, just interested if anyone else is on this trial and how its going Thanks
I still can't believe it either! I like the fact that we know if we are on the hormone treatment or not. I was on the hormone treatment too. The extra biopsies are a pain but I like that being on the trial is like a 'checklist' and I felt reassured things were less likely to get missed and maybe you get a bit more monitoring than you would otherwise? Good luck with it.
Hi Kate, Thanks for your reply and good that you have had positive results up to now, I wasn't sure at first about doing it as I wasn't keen on extra biopsies and then maybe not getting the drug but I found out that now that I will get it , letrozole although I am post menopausal , still can't quite believe it but its happening !
Hi! You are the only one I've heard of doing this apart from me. I started this trial in November 2016 and had my surgery 8/3/17, so have just finished the trial. I had zoladex and letrozole as I'm pre menopausal, with my chemo. My MRI pre surgery stated cancer was 'significantly reduced' but I won't get my official pathology til I see the doctor this Monday.
