Early breast cancer treatment
Hello all, Today my mum received her diagnosis of early breast cancer. We will be seeing the breast surgeon next week for next steps, does anyone know typical how long treatment would take?

Thanks ladies, yes she doesn't feel comfortable going to Bankstown. Our GP has referred us to Liverpool hospital. I called up the number and was transferred to Cancer Therapy Centre where we will be meeting with an Oncologist. Is that normal to see an Oncologist first? Initially when we were referred to Bankstown, we were going to see a Breast surgeon. Thoughts??
