Double or single?

Just wondering if anyone can give some insight into decision and living with a double mastectomy.  I have a strong family history through the male side with 2 of my siblings (but not me) having a BRCA2 mutation. I have cancer in the right breast which will be removed. I also have a benign lump in my left. I just don't know whether to have both off and be done with.
Thanks.

  • I had both off best decision I made .... I have chosen no reconstruction as I have lots of allergies etc and I am happy flat chested.
I was 18DD before bilateral Mastectomy lost 8kg in one go with them removed.

My neck and back love me for it :D
  • For my own piece of mind I would. There are draw backs to only having the one off like I did. Your clothes don't sit right with only one bump. Hugz <3
