Double mastectomy & reconstruction help!

im 6 months post op, 3rd reconstruction, mastectomy 5 years ago. 2 months ago I started getting nerve pain and pain in my right side when using my arm. Now I can bearly use it, swimming is painful, vacuuming etc even shutting a big window with my right arm gives my pain down the outer side of breast and under breast. I'm frustrated and depress being limited because I'm normally really active. I'm not happy with this surgery I feel implants are to big for me, I went half a cup size bigger due to really bad rippling. I want to see another surgeon for a second opinion. I'm in Perth can anyone recommend someone who specialises or has a excellent reputation.

    O he's who Did mine. I will have a google about capsular contracture tho thank you!

    I used Mark Lee for my dbl lat Dorsi - 2yrs on no complications so very happy to recommend him.  I'm wondering if u have capsular contracture which develops over time. Mark uses textured implants which are supposed to have less chance of this happening than smooth implants. You can always contact me and other ladies through the Reclaim Your Curves website for other recommendations/info - you just need to ask to join our closed Facebook group. Def get this looked at - u should not have pain like this.

    @Leem28 So sorry you are going through this.  @Leone88 is a great Perth contact and she organises catch-ups for ladies who have reconstruction queries in Perth.
    I see you have joined choosing breast recon group.  If you scroll through all the discussions you may come across some from members who have had nerve pain issues. I just popped reconstruction and nerve pain in the search bar on this site so there might be some posts here that are worth reading.
