Diagnosis
I had the results of biopsy today and it says " Left breast 11 o'clock 8 cm (core biopsies) infiltrating ducal carcinoma".
So as I was already been told it is breast cancer and its approx 3 cm long . No definite lymphovascular invasion is seen.
The surgeon said that we need to wait until it is removed for more info regarding treatment, but one thing we need to do before the operation is genetic testing ( mum had it when she was 49 yrs old and I'm 41) . Mastectomy seems to be the way to go because of the place the tumor is located and to be honest I am quite happy with that. Now I am going to meet the breast surgeon on Friday to decide a date in Febraury for surgery..
Thank you for your support ladies, this network is helping me immensely . Hope you are all feeling good today .
