The question you are asking me is what I asked my oncologist.Even when the cancer hasn't spread, the oncologist looks at all the details of the test results, and based on the OVERALL result, not just if it has spread,or if it is a particular grade,or what size it is,and so on; then the overall result is how the decision is made.I actually was very pleased to have chemo,as for me I wanted to do every possible thing that I could to make sure it was gone!I had 4 rounds of Docetaxel chemo, and if you read my blogs, you will see I found it not that bad! I complained a bit about itchy skin rashes, dry mouth, food cravings, and tiredness for 4 or 5 days each round, but not much else really:) I am 6 weeks past chemo now,on Tamoxifen, and feel fantastic!!!All the best with your oncologist visit.Cheers xoxo Robyn
