When I got my results (not good ones) it was only 2 hours before I saw the surgeon so I did not have time to get anxious. The surgeon was brilliant and was straight to the point and made us feel at ease. Hopefully you will have someone with you as my husband came with me and as everything for me was a bit of a blur and trying to make decisions he was brilliant. On the way home he told me stuff that I never even heard the surgeon saying! My biopsy was black and blue and that was where the Dr took one of the lumps from. After the op it was just a bit sore nothing else. Of course I got blacker but that faded pretty quickly.
As the others have said Rescue Remedy (you can get a spray that you put under your tongue) is really good.
