- primekMemberLaksa and any chinese food was good for me. Just nothing too spicy as my gut was sensitive.

Trikki2 - Trikki2MemberThanks @arpie. Helps to have a few ideas. Xxx you guys are awesome xx
Trikki2 - Kiwi_AngelMember@arpie I had been vegan for over a year until after the second round of chemo then my body started craving meat and fat!
- arpieMemberWhich was really weird for him, @"Kiwi Angel" - as being a sportsman - he HATES 'chew & spew' (Takeaways) and usually peels off any type of coating (thinking they are trying to hide something!) LOL
- Kiwi_AngelMember@arpie I craved kfc during chemo too - think it was something to do with the grease and the spices in the coating.
- arpieMemberWhen my husband was going thru his chemo, our dietician said he could eat whatever he liked & advised me to 'value add' as well - like full cream milk, normal cheese (not lite) etc
When he was at his worst - he suddenly took a liking to KFC Chicken Wraps & their lovely Berry Smoothie (not sure if they do the smoothie now!) SO ..... every lunch time - off we'd to go KFC! He also took a liking to our local bakery (Steak & Kidney Pies) so I'd buy up 6 at a time for him!
Just Eat whatever you THINK you might fancy - even if you DON'T fancy it! and maybe even try something new with exotic flavours (like Thai Food perhaps - which is really colourful and not as spicy as Chinese?)
All the best xx - Kiwi_AngelMember@Trikki2 I was abit naughty and just ate whatever appealed to me including medium rare beef. Anything that had flavour was good and so many things I loved tasted like nothing and spicy food burnt my mouth for a few days after chemo. I liked bunny soft drink and got on to scrambled eggs with heaps of herbs on them which I have never eaten before in my life. It’s sucks doesn’t it - took about a month for my tastebuds to fully recover post chemo.
