Hi Lynne, I am so sorry to hear that your surgery wasn't successful. To go through all of that and to end up as you began is not fair. I have heard that expanders are not great if you have had radiation. Some Drs put in expanders and inflate before radiation commences. This has a slightly better outcome, though I have still heard of tightness and contractures happening after radiation. Where do you live? There are some excellent surgeons around the main cities who have done so great Tram and Dieps. There would be many good recommendations if you decide to take that pathway.
