well yesterday i wet our for lunch with friends had a good day even put on a bit of makeup....got home and while i felt quiet exhausted  i thought i'd have a nanny nap... so i went in to the bathroom and tied my hair back and rubbed makeup remover all over my face i got a nice hot face-washer and wiped all the makeup off.......blow and behold there was my eyebrow on the face-washer after the initial shock i just burst out laughing then i took my hair out of the hair tie and i took 1/2 my hair with it ........in that moment i decided that i was going to take back control and not let this control me ......so this morning i ad the whole lot shaved off and it felt good ........so now i'm back in control whoo hoo

    Thanks for the laugh - I have a vision of you Sharon with no hair and one eyebrow!  I bet you pull it off wonderfully!

    Looks like you can't sleep either.  I have chemo tomorrow and of course the Dexamethasone has kicked in.  Bonus though I have a very clean tidy house. It really hypes me up.  I have been zooming all day and thought I might be worn out tonight.  No not so.  Oncology rang today and said my Hemoglobin count was down "Was I feeling tired"  I said "Definately not today"  Wonder what will happen when the drugs drop out on Sunday.  I usually fall over pretty bad when my body comes off them.  Lots of emotional stuff which I find difficult but it is all part of the process.  I like yourself have not had a problem with the hair loss.  My little grand-daughter who is 3 going on 33 has not seen Nanna without hair yet but knows about it.  She was being babysat by my other daughter last Saturday and saw a photo of me that she hadn't seen before.  "Look Nanna has got hair" she said and she remembered to tell her mother when she saw her!!!  It is more scary/bewildering for others I think.  At least it will be something different for her to experience when I next am well enough to visit her.  Only two more chemos to go  Yeh!!  Good for you on taking control.  XLeonie
