CT AND BONE SCANS DONE

On Tuesday I had a CT chest, abdo and pelvis. There does not seem to be any other involvement at this stage but they found a few things which will explain other things that are going on with me. I was recently diagnosed with pre Hypertension... well I have a Right Cyst in my Kidney so this might be the issue.. Ill get that sorted out soon I hope. I also have uncomplicated Sigmoid Diverticulitis and this explains the bloating and gas. Then there is the L4, L5 degenerative breakdown... lower back pain... hmmm again no surprise. 

I know I have arthritis in all of my joints from Ross River Virus from 18 years ago.. so that will show up in the bone scans .. but im really hoping there are no HOT SPOTS other than the Ca.in my breast.

    I got the all clear yesterday, the bone scan came back with what I thought.. arthritis ... but more intense than I thought but it explains the aches and pains. 

    Now to wait and see Plastics on Tuesday.. 

    To make my day any better yesterday I found out a very good friend passed away... He was not suppose to die and it made me so angry knowing the incompetence of Nursing staff that looked after him. 

    so now I have to deal with that as well and a funeral next week. 

    Life sucks some times..

    I had my Ct scans done privately. ..I can tell you it popped open and my husband and I read them before seeing the Dr. It was such a relief to see all vital organs normal...it at least without tumours..there were gallstones and various cysts in liver...all things that I knew about for years.

    I wanted to go into tbe appointment knowing what was there.  That way I could take in what they would day after that. Otherwise all you hear is...you have secondary cancer and nothing more.

    Luckily that wasn't  the case.

    so true... tomorrow I will go and pick up all my reports and have a read. I dont wait to see the Dr's I want to know... 

    I will take the results to my GP too and get the cyst in my Kidney sorted and hopefully that will take my BP down and be ok before I go in for surgery at the end of July. 

    Being a nurse can be a bonus but then it has its down sides knowing to much. lol

    My bone scans showed up my arthritis and with relief nothing else.  Hope all goes well. At least you now know about the other issues. Kath x
