Choosing the right surgery

Hi Tameeka, so sorry that you are here, but you sound like you are right onto things and know what direction you are heading which is great. Definitely the reconstruction group would be great for you to sift through all the stories. As Amazonia mentioned I had a left breast mastectomy/diep flap reconstruction due to a recurrence I had in 2015. So I underwent chemo and a lumpectomy. 16 months later I had my mastectomy/diep flap recon all in one surgery, it was massive but I love the fact that its all me, I have to have a revision surgery to tidy up and of course there is a tummy incision as well, but I got a flat tummy lol. I couldnt have an implant due to radiation in 2011. So it sounds like you have some direction in knowing youre interested in implants, so hopefully lots of ladies will jump in like Primek to help you with that surgery :) If there are any other questions, fire away, we're all here.
