Welcome Tameeka and sorry that you have joined us but it's a wonderful group of knowing women. !
Best plan would be to join relevant groups such as young women with bc and the reconstruction group which has a wonderful cross section of stories and photos of all stages of surgery experiences.
Just requires application and admission formalities with links attached.
I have just had second mastectomy and double tissue expanders inserted with implant exchange to come in the future and I'm so lucky to be happy with my choice and recovering well.
Everyone is different, I had chemo but not radiation. I know many surgeons prefer not to reconstruct with implants post radiation due to risk of contracture and skin tightening due to radiation but I have heard of successes there.
melclarity and nikkid have both posted their tram flap stories in the reconstruction amongst others to look out for.
Perhaps mention where you are located as you will no doubt find women in the same area who have knowledge of local hospitals and surgeons.
