chemo today

Hi all, had my first AC chemo today. I was concerned as I have bad reactions to almost every drug I have ever been given but so far not too bad.  Have had a headache ever since but to terrible.  Feel a bit nauseous but can handle it at the moment.  Very tired but that is probably because I didn't sleep too well last night.  Will grit my teeth and soldier on.  1 AC down, 3to go then 12 Taxol.  Oh well there is one less now.  best wishes to all out there on this journey, Kester xx

    Hi Kester, so pleased it didn't go too bad for you. I'm sure you are probably thinking will you get through all this and you WILL. I've recently completed 6 months of chemo and 20 rounds of Radiothreapy, didn't go too bad except I did get shingles.  I'm sure you have heard this before but if you are keeping ok and not too tired keep some light exercise and walking up, it honestly does help.
