Chemo round 2 - a WHOLE different story
ok, so round 1 of chemo went 'relatively' well i thought. i was pretty crook for about a week but bounced back and had 2 good weeks (i have chemo every 3 weeks).
round 2 however, ugh. it's been a whole different experience, which from what i can gather is normal but i guess the emotional side of things is really starting to kick in. day 1 of chemo was awful (there were tears!), and now that my head is all patchy, i'm pale, i'm thin, etc it's all really starting to hit home. i'd be lying if i didnt say i'd had thoughts about just how tough this is going to be to get through ... i desperately need to remain positive, even though i look shocking! i am actually somewhat positive, despite what i'm saying here, but i'd really love to hear from anyone who throughout their chemo had thoughts of 'ugh ... this is extremely, difficult!!'
