Hi Chrissy ... i'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I am also thinking of chemo as an insurance policy. I've even managed (sometimes) to tell myself that chemo is a very good thing!
Your story is a reminder to me that there are many, many people out there who get a much worse prognosis than I have, so thank you for taking the time write.
I've got my fingers crossed for all of us xx
