Cause of Breast Cancer

I don't have any genetic history from my parent, apparently I never thought of I will get cancer.  I had 5 sisters, and only me always in trouble.

My cause I believed, due to long time stress and worry, with my marriage and my son.  My son age 17 and made me so so so worry, maybe I am over-thinking, most of the time.  My marriage is awful.  I still can't move a bit to get rid of.

Depression and stress wasn't because of the Breast cancer I know.........I am learning to hand off from those issues........

  • Thanks Joy, I love your name, being Joyful.........I'll learn to go through with it and sure will give myself a big clap.

    Thanks be with me.

  • Yeah Robyn, one of my very supportive friends said have to learn so call "selfish" to put myself first.  A kind of selfish doesn't mean the so call selfish, but think the way of : if I didn't take good care of myself, I can't handle the rest of my life.... SO learn to be good to myself, and it's about time to hand off and enjoy (because he's 17) instead of start a new disease haha..........

I treat this as a new chapter for myself, and re-start to learn.

Thanks for your support, and I know you all are with me.

    Cheers

  • Thanks so much Meg........I'll have to learn myself to go through his stage, and take good care of myself.

  • Hi Rosanna,

I have asked myself the same question about stress causing cancer, but as Meg said stress on it's own doesn't cause cancer.  I hope you find support from outside your family so that going forward you have less stress and be in a better place to look after yourself.

    Big hugs too you

  • Big hugs to you. I have a 17 year old son too, and yes it is not so easy. I've led a reasonably healthy life, so I have no idea where cancer comes from except it's there, I'm the right age for it, and now it's time to get rid of it. As far as stress and worry goes, it does not cause cancer by itself. It's good to keep stress under control though because life is so much easier, and it's easier to take care of yourself when your not worrying about other things. Take care, and I hope you have lots of support from friends and family in whatever form it takes. Have you got a breast care nurse to talk things over with? They can be very helpful.
