@jena, I made the oil myself. I put the hooch in a tray, covered it in very good quality liquid coconut oil and baked it very slowly for a few hours. It's a technique I mastered in the years that Alice B Toklas' cookbook was the mainstay of many a party. The slow roasting works better than cooking in a sauce pan, that stuff can taste disgusting. Coconut oil has a low smoke point, so it's important not to burn it. What a performance, my house smelled very interesting for a couple of days :)
