hello all, i have been given the opportunity to make an audience comment tomorrow on Can of Worms. The topic is "just because i've had a boob job does it give people the right to look???"
I understand i will be representing the ladies who have had breast reconstruction due to breast cancer. I would like to know how everyone who has had recon feels about this topic.
I know what my opinion is whats yours?

Yes i was nervous but i really enjoyed myself. I have had such a lovely response i feel quite honoured to have been asked to represent all of us pink ladies.
It was a good night too. Dicko was quite funny and i love Josh and Yumi. My kids were so so proud seeing me on t.v. They did not really understand the content they were just happy seeing mum and nanna on the telly.
I am going to volunteer at the Sydney Blackmores running festival next week i can't wait!!!!

I stayed up to watch you on TV last night. I could tell you were nervous but that made it all the more honest. You are so brave. There is no way I could have said any of that stuff in a room full of strangers. Thank you for doing that,

I hated the blokes at work perving at my old size Fs, but when my reconstruction is finished, I won't mind so much as long as people aren't obvious about it. I want people to know that, even if you have a mastectomy, this is what breast cancer can look like. I used to think that breast cancer meant disfigurement but I know now that it doesn't have to and I want other people to know that too. I think that would help to get girls to check themselves and go along to mammograms.
