Hi Sam,
my CA15.3 marker rose because I had a nasty case of flu just this month. When the flu left, I had another test and was back to normal. The oncologist said my immune system was compromised due to the infection I was fighting. The test doesn't actually measure cancer cells - it measures inflammation and means you are fighting something. Don't worry too much - it will probably be normal again by next month. Michelle x
