At 5 months, it's totally possible that you still have nerves regrowing near the surface (which felt to me as if I had sunburn someone kept slapping), and your scar tissue is still really fresh.
Surgery is a trauma, it can take a long time for your body to adapt to the changes. I get spams and shooting every few days a year on, they're just part of life now.
If you find yourself in so much pain that you're hunched over and crying though, get to the clinic. x
