I’m very grateful I have avoided this side effect (I feared it more than almost anything else) and I hope that greater understanding may come out of research on brain fog in people suffering from Long Covid as to
just how this happens, and what can be done to counteract it. I’d have thought there were enough cancer patients with the problem to get further ahead on research before Covid, but it seems in many cases the condition is fobbed off, as ageing or some such. Most older women have dealt with so many changes in their lives that the notion of ‘resistance to change’ may simply be ‘not again!’ rather than any difficulty in adapting!
