Blood test to replace mammo
Has anyone else heard or read about this? A research centre in England have successfully detected breast cancer using blood tests earlier than a mammogram would. They are currently doing further trial...
I am just wondering how it would work as it shows it is there before it is there! How would they know what area to treat and they couldn’t operate to take it out as it wasn’t there yet. I am presuming it is used to more closely monitor you if it says you have it so that they can jump on it as soon as it rears it’s ugly head. If that makes sense.
