Blood test to replace mammo
Has anyone else heard or read about this? A research centre in England have successfully detected breast cancer using blood tests earlier than a mammogram would. They are currently doing further trial...
@arpie Not sure, it just came up on my news page. It is currently being researched in Nottingham and they have currently tested it on 180 people. They are now going to test it on another 800 before releasing it as effective. I now have two friends with metastatic and am hoping it will help with finding this as well in future. Their uncertainty is traumatic for them and it would be great if this test helped prevent others from some of this trauma.
