Bilateral expanders and filling

Very good advice, Chris. Yes, I think it just feels so high with the expanders but with the silicon implants (lower) it won't feel as big.

Did they tell you how many mils you were before? My PS said they weighed my tissue after removal and I was 450ml which is why we are going for that.

I too have notice the wrinkley bits disappearing which is good.

Isn't that funny my evil side is the one that causes me the least trouble... In regard to size - I have not worked out how they convert mils to cup size??? I was a 14d before and am a size 10-12 in clothes ant the PS is recommending 550 - I am 350 now and it has only been in the last few days I have noticed the volume dropping so that the wrinkles across the middle are filling out... It is still sitting high but there is a more rounded shape now ... I think too that when they do the exchange the shape and position of the implant is slightly different so that impacts final cup size... If you trust your PS be guided by them As with everything on this journey there are so many variables!!!!

My phantom pain is on the side I call my "evil side" i.e. the one that had cancer. The pain is not getting any better since my fill so I wonder if it is because I've got more in there now and it will stay like this until my exchange (arrghhh). 

Will be taking a Lyrica tablet to sleep tonight I think. Still trying to decide what to be filled to. Was going to go to 450ml but feeling quite big at 390ml so not sure.  Looking at lots of boob photos tonight to get some idea (my daughter beside me is very used to this by now).

Yes I can't wait... I have two more fills I do mine fortnightly so that's probably why the larger amount... Can't wait for it to be done... I have phantom pain too hopefully it will settle following exchange!!!!! My left side is more sore too... Was that your "good" side? Good to know they can remove the excess skin in the exchange isn't it.  It will be good for you to have that piano accordian out too!

Had another fill today. Left side is really sore. Other side fine. Left side is actually sore most of the time. PS said I could have chronic nerve pain there. He said it is like phantom nerve pain amputees have. I guess we are amputees so it can happen to us too. He said it is either that or something to do with the expanders which I am hoping is the case. If not, he will send me to a pain management specialist as it may never go away.  Ugggh. Anyway, good to be nearly finished the fills. Last one next week.

Hi there I have now figured out that if I alternate nurofen and panadol every 3 hours for the first day it is quite manageable ... Not sure if that will work as I get fuller !! I am at 350 mil so far and the target was 550 so only 2 more to go... I noticed today that it is finally starting to fill out the wrinkly excess skin.. I think it only dropped over night so it has made it much more comfortable. It's weird tho... Still can't get used to feeling them move and being able to see and feel the expanders around the edge... Another week to the next fill then I am going to give myself a gap of three weeks before what I hope is the final one. I am told that the exchange to implants is quite a relief ... I hope it is .. Xx

Glad to hear you are on track. I do 60ml each time which is painful afterwards so 100ml must hurt! You're getting there quickly though which is great.
