Like you, I recognise that some women find reconstruction is beneficial but I've also had many messages from women that felt they were not fully informed of the risks, pain levels or the associated numbness and need for ongoing surgery.
I'm not opposed to reconstruction. I'm opposed to women thinking it's their only choice.
