BC, Surgery, Chemo & Baby
Hi All
This journey we are all on is not for the faint hearted. When I was diagnosed I was 26wks pregnant. It was Xmas. I had a masectomy within a week of diagnosis and then straight into AC chemo.
After 3 rounds I was induced at 36 weeks (so chemo didnt run into "delivery" time) .... and I thought I would just post some happiness here. Introducing Cooper Roy.... he makes me smile :)
Chemo restarts next week, one more AC round to go...then Taxol/Herceptin starts, but I have my little man to cheer me through it.
Amazingly he is perfect and apart from being early he seems completely unaffected by all that is going on.

Thanks Eileen... fingers crossed! He is a good sleeper and calm baby so I'm not super tired to start with - was worse being pregnant lol

Congratulations Emma you have a beautiful baby boy & like you said if you can do chemo whilst pregnant it should be easier for you now.

- Hi Em, Cooper is a beautiful little man. He & his brothers will bring you so much joy & happiness. Just make sure you don't blink, they grow so fast (my baby is 26). Love to you all Paula

Thanks Angie! Not looking forward to next AC but that will be AC done. If I can do it while pregnant then not been pregnant should make it easier :)
