Banana garbage!
Day 6 - after round 1.
Chemical hangover remains the same. It's quite an effort to even stay upright. Food is not my friend anymore either..I ate a banana yesterday and it actually tasted like garb...

The metal taste is just the worst.... have been having mints 24/7 to ease the taste a little. As for the hubbys it must be so hard on them to see us like this. Mine in the beginning was very angry and actually "pushing" me away as he didnt know how to deal with situation. You see having lost both mother and father to cancer this was a BIG blow to him. But as time went by he has been the most caring, lovable person on earth and I would not have done this without his support. Yes after 25 yrs of marriage this is really the testing ground and mine has passed with flying colours. To me its very sad when I hear that some husbands have decided they could not handle their wives cancer journey and just got up and left, very sad.
We are lucky to have partners that love us and care for us!
