@Sam09 dont be frightened to get the port, its the best thing. I to am quite small & I had no dramas though I did have a radiologist assisting, I think you will find most do. It makes blood tests & treatments so much easier. I finished Chemo in March but I am keeping my port because it makes life so much easier..
Why does the port mean no weights???? I do everything I used to do, the port gives me no trouble at all except I do find the car seatbelt can annoy it so I remedied that by buying a sheepskin seatbelt cover to cushion that section.
