Anyone here into Aromatherapy?

I’ve been hearing a lot about the benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils. I’m even thinking of taking a diffuser into hospital with me as I know I’ll be in a private room so won’t be disturbing anyone else. Does anyone here have any advice about which oils are best to promote healing etc?

I used the calming spray when I was getting anxious and the inspirational when I wanted to be more aware of things

  • It will need to be an electric diffuser,  no open flames allowed, even in single rooms.
You would also need to check with the nurse caring for you each shift...... theyalso can have allergies and sensitivities.
Having said that, if you think it may help, try it aat home before you go to hospital and see how you respond  :)
  • I don't know about actual healing properties (one way or another) but I am sure that certain scents can be comforting, aid concentration and generally assist wellbeing. So go for it. Many cultures have used sage to cleanse and renew.
