Hi San Dee, I had my lumpectomy in early May, I had the dye into the breast but not near the nipple, where I had it in some places is still blue, I suggest you ask the Nurse and Doctor when you visit them, I don't know about anyone else but from the very start (I found my lump in Feb after a Mammogram) I was advised to ask anything you were worried about.
