Well ladies,I had my ultrasound today on my enlarged lymph nodes.Thankfully all was fine,and there was no need for a biopsy.I went to Strathfield Private in Sydney,which is where I always go,and the way that they are so thorough is unbelievable:) First the radiographer did the ultrasound.Then when she could find nothing she called a specialist who was in the hospital.He operated the ultrasound machine,and after a few minutes,he located the swollen nodes.He then left me while he went out to compare it with my previous ultrasounds there.On return,he said that everything was fine.He did comment though that my surgeon was very switched on,to be able to feel the lymph nodes in question,by hand. I left there feeling relieved,thankful,and stress free.Thankyou to all you ladies that wished me well for today.I will never again consider NOT going for my regular checkups!!! Hi Robyn,

Just read your post today and fantastic that all is well and great to hear your good news. These follow up tests are always going to be nerve wracking but a very necessary part of our lives now.

I will have my follow up Mammogram and Ultrasound next month. It's been 2 years since I finished my treatment. I have been doing well but the month of January is always going to be a nervous one for me.

Yay Robyn! So glad that everything was ok. The advantage of these extra thorough checks is that you get that extra reassurance that everything really is all right for certain. Thanks to my bone scan and an earlier check of my liver this year I am also feeling reassured that I'm going ok.
