Oh Dear - it must be a 'man thing' - my man is totally useless when I am upset or not coping .... I guess they are used to seeing us 'strong' & just don't know what to do when we are weak for a change. Your man has obviously been thinking back on his own reaction to your diagnosis & found it 'wanting'!
