Adjusting to bad news, staying hopeful, changing habits

Yes. My dog was skulking around during the frothing up anger phase. I was collecting the home-delivered plastic-wrapped newspaper from the driveway each morning and bashing it hard against the edge of the kitchen bench repeatedly until bits of newspaper were flying around the room.
@kabash....all you describe?Perfectly normal I think! Including the insensitive-unpleasant husband.
