Odd thing to talk about but I hope it helps. My poo would be almost black the first few days after chemo. If I wasn't taking too much pain killers the loo trip was get in there and dump so fast I would wonder if my stomach was still inside me. Sometimes it would be up to 3 trips early morning and then it would settle. Only now 2 months after chemo has this stopped.
My stomach used to feel so touchy I would just stick to milk, bananas, plain ice blocks rolled oats or Weetbix for the first week or two after chemo. The final week I could eat pretty much what ever I wanted but I couldn't eat a lot in one sitting. It would be sort of graze all day affair.
Now two months later I am a fruit bat. I crave fruit all the time and sometimes will even have watermelon in place of a meal. I suppose my body is taking up all the vitamins it missed during chemo.
