- SisterMember@megs04 It may be worth starting a new discussion because not everyone reads all of the posts so if the topic is slightly different, you've more chance of yours being seen. The other point is that, down the track, it's easier to find if someone is searching. We do all meander a bit, though.
It can be a bit tiring when you're trying to get on with things and people keep asking how you're feeling - they mean well but... I didn't work during treatment but since I've gone back I've had to field quite a few questions. You're unlikely to get away without the rumour mill going in to production and you want to have your boss and close colleagues on board in case you aren't managing at times. My suggestion is to tell a work colleague who you are comfortable with and ask if he/she can spread the word and that you'd rather everyone didn't ask as you don't want to always be thinking about cancer. I started a blog to update friends and family and also gave the link to those I work with. But that's how I cope with things - I prefer things out in the open so I don't have to worry about keeping secrets. I know that for others, the privacy is more important. - Megs04MemberHi all.
