a couple of questions

It must be a great relief to have finished the big 4! I was nervous at this stage too but it is easier and quicker. When I blew my nose there were drops of blood but nothing serious. My fingernails and toenails went brittle so its good to put a nail hardner or polish on. I to have sinus problems but it was ok. The 12 weeks will go so fast and you will be done. I have done 6 T so far. A little vaseline in my nose has helped it from drying out. Plenty of water, alternate bicarb and salt water mouth washes definitely helps keep your mouth more comfortable. I have not found this stage too bad and also the finish line is in sight!

You're half way done! Like RNSW I got some blood when I blew my nose but not proper nose bleeds. Nose oil stopped the inside of my nose feeling cracked and clogged. Taxol can be hard on soft tissue so your nose,eyes and mouth may be temporarily affected. I also lost a fair swag of my taste buds (very effective if you want to lose a bit of weight!). No ulcers but then I didn't get them at any time. You may need to keep up the Biotene. Look after your nails as suggested, they can discolour or crack. Watch for tingling in fingers and toes and get advice early on how to minimise this's for it starts. Good news is that often hair starts growing back when you are still on Taxol!

I have finished 10 & haven't had any nose bleeds or ulcers since AC. My nails are still in good condition & I wear dark polish all the time. The only thing that has bothered me is the metallic taste or no taste. I seem to have about 2 days out of the seven where I don't have either. I have mine on Friday & about Monday to Wed ache a bit but have acupuncture & massage which helps. Good luck, it goes really quickly!

I had watery pink discharge and the odd bit of bleeding in sinus cavity tbat was sorted with steam and lots of blowing. I had those littke tissue packets everywhere...and always on me as it did just drip drip drip. And so did my eyes.
