I'm doing OK this time round. Just some aches and pains but I am able to handle them at the moment.

Yep, I'm doing ok this time..Just a few aches and pains, nothing to complain about. Can't wait to celebrate chemo over and hair growing back. It has started,,just bum fluff at the moment. But I'm hopeful.

Bundy is a fantastic place to live..the best weather..not too hot...not too cold. Just right!!!!!

Well it's Tuesday & I'm wondering how you're going with your chemo. Read about your shenanigans getting your chemo. The lengths you go to to try to get out of it!

I'm hoping your side affects are minimal this time around & with your home pharmacy, you're breezing through in a slight haze of drugs.

Just think, 1 more to go!  Big celebrations at your place when it's all over. 

Bundy sounds like a nice place, will have to visit it one day.

I'm sure we are all stronger than we give ourselves credit. I ahve always been a positive person and try to find the good in everything. I have never been in hospital except to have my three daughters back in the early eighties. So this was like another challenge and adventure with the BC. I think it has changed my life for the better as i was always thing and helping everyone else and not taking care of myself. This made me pull my head in and put ME first for a change. Amazingly enough all those i was helping totally understood and now put there energy into getting me well again and realized mum/wife/daughter is not indestructable.

Anyhow there is go rambling on again, thanks for the big hug and take care of yourself

Hubby is doing okay but he did tell me last night that he has had some dramas with his leg.  He is now off light duties at work - which is bull.......because he still has huge dramas with his leg.  He is still having weekly bloods but has been getting some pain again.  Guess who will be getting bossed when we get home.  He really needs to be under a specialist guidance but you know what men are like.  We will have a little holiday prior to getting home so I will be "scheming" some appointments for him.  As we live so close, and we have our racehorse stabled and trained at Bundy, I'm sure we will be able to catch up one day.  We might be able to watch the horse run at the Bundy races!!!! - with or without hair under our hats. Tonya, I'm an angel really!!!!  Oh I really enjoy and look forward to my Chemo days Out (NOT). I've got a reputation with the chemo nurses already...I'm sure they cringe when they see me coming. I would rather not need my chemist shop of drugs but i think if i have them i dont have to run to the hospital every time i need them. I really have to be in a bad shape before i take any of them.

I sometimes ask myself why am I going back to endure more drugs and drama with the docetaxel. I was really scared this time after last time with the all the side effects. I just dont want the cancer to come back and get secondaries down the track. I suppose there is no garantees that wont still happen. Oh well just one more and will try to get my life back into some kind of order. i wont be going back to work if I'm not well enough thats for sure. Work has definately taken a back seat.. I use to live to work before BC now I think I will work to live. I love my job and the people I work with and I miss them but I love life more.

Well enough rambling on. I'm off to eat breaky and have some yummy drugs..hmmmm

Hi Leonie,

Just wanted to congratulate you on completing your rad therapy. Bet you will be happy to see hubby. How is his legs going by the way? Is it all under control now? Yeah you can only do so much retail therapy, not much fun when you dont have the funds to buy all the bargains you find tho. I do like window shopping until i find a bargain and cant afford it.

I also go back and read all the previous blogs for info. Its a wealth of information and you can always find someone that has been through what you are looking for. I hope you breeze through your chemo, not like me. I dont think i havent had some kind of drama with each chemo day. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel now and am running towards it. I feel quite good today but am still on meds for next few days after the chemo. Ask me on MOnday how I feel and it could be a totally different answer.

Well hope you get home soon and life gets back to some kind of normality.  Look after your rad sites and stay looking pretty.
