4 Down, 2 to go. Chemo nearly finished, Yay!!!

Hi Lovelies.

Just thought I'd check in, had my first round of Docetaxel yesterday, a bit scarey of the unknown all over again.  But, got through it ok, just a low blood pressure propblem in the first 15mins, but no reactions, Yay!!!!

Last night was spent mainly awake from hot/cold flushes, but no nausia/vomiting which was fantastic as I had a problem with this on Fec.

I look forward to finishing this lot of treatment and moving onto Radiation in Feb.

It has been a horrid year for all of us, but hopefully 2012 will be a lot kinder to us.

Have a Wonderful Christmas with your Family and Friends.

Take Care and keep smiling!

  • Hello Rach, I will have my last Docetaxel on the 28th December Yay .I too was thrilled that there was no vomiting with this drug as the FEC had me in hospital for 2 weeks each time I had it :(.  The only problem I am having is the pain in the hips, legs, feet and back it lasts 4 days and has me bed ridden for 2 of them. The Dr has me on a lot of pain meds and they have helped greatly. I hope you dont have this problem. I am starting radiation in January and have my education session on Monday and the preperation day next Friday, I am a little nervous about that but looking forward to the next step in my recovery.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year sees us all a lot healthier.
