3 FEC down, 3 Docetaxal to go! Yay half way.

Hi Lovely Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing aok.

It has been quite a few weeks since last blog, but have finally made it half way through chemo, Yay!!!!

I have been feeling quite good considering, with the exception of the odd teary/fragile days.  But they are just a blip in the road. :o)

My best mate, Jo had a Girls Night In for me a few weeks ago.  It blew way out of control and ended up being a huge gathering of 80+ people at the local pub.  Thanks to the generousity of strangers that became friends on the night, we managed to raise a whopping $23 000.00 for the Cancer Council.  It helped that both our Hubbys' got work and suppliers involved to donate items to raffle off and a few large TVs and engel fridge was donated for auction.

Jo had arranged all this, so she could cut her hair on the night so that I didn't have to go through the hair loss thing alone.  She is a wonderful friend and the Big Sister I always wished I had growing up  :o)

    Hello Rach,

    I remember back to my half way mark - huge effort. Your journey may be teary at times but having strong friends that love you standing right beside you makes a huge difference. Congratualtions Jo ehat a huge heart and all for the fundraising.

    All the very best for the next lot of chemo.

    Hi Rach, congratulations, half way through Your almost their now!! Wow that is alot of money that you raised good on you. Your friend Jo sounds like she is a great friend, i am so glad that you have each other!!

    I hope that the second half of your treatment go's smoothly and quickly for you.

    Wow, Rach! What a fabulous fundraising effort, good for you!  And congrats on making the half way mark -- that's a great milestone. :)

    Yay for the half way mark in chemo and a big yay for the HUGE amount you all raised for cancer council.What is even more amazing than that amount is that your friend cut all her hair off in sympathy for you.Wow,what a friend - you two look so cute ,like peas in a pod.Best of luck for the second half.
