Hi all Hope you are all travelling well. I had surgery on Monday and had two lumps removed and a few lymph nodes. Just waiting on results to see if there are clear margins. I can't wait to get home. Three nights in hospital and I am so over it. Even though I have a private room, there is only so much foxtel and average food you can tolerate. I thought my kids were loud but they are much quieter than the hospital staff and clanging food trolleys. Let me out of here !!

Glad to hear the op is over! Hopefully you are home already? I ended up having two surgeries but spent only one night in hospital each time. The second time, the patients were the noisy ones :) bells going all night for the nurses and the lady in the room next to me having a 20 minute conversation at 5am on her mobile. I was grateful to get home. Good luck with the path results and look after yourself.

Oh that sucks! Hope you are out now and if not hope tonight is a much more peaceful night noise wise :)

I just looked at the time you posted and hoping you are well and truly home now. Being away from loved ones/support group can be very hard. As for your dog.... I've been thinking about borrowing my sister-in-laws dog we sat a few months ago! Pets are lovely and so threapedic! *virtual hugs* hang in there if check out hasn't happened yet - almost there!!

I have seen my surgeon this morning, he has recommended a double mastectomy as I have lesions in both breasts. Lymph nodes are clear (ultra sound). My darling husband had lots of questions which I may have forgotten to ask. I have my surgery on the 27th June. I would appreciate any feed back on having a double mastectomy...I am feeling more settled this evening...maybe taking this next step in my journey...How brave we all are and are trying to be. X

Thank you so much for your support. I am trying to be strong, but I feel as if I am in some kind of 'fog' not being able to concentrate. I am sure I should feel better on Friday after seeing the surgeon. My darling husband and my children are there for me..I am usually the strong one..it is very hard...
