2 years :)

Hello ladies,just letting you know that I had my 2 year mammo and ultrasound today! I thought I was not at all nervous,but I noticed while waiting that I couldn't keep my feet still,and my breathing was really fast.!! Anyway,it was all just fine.The doctor reviewed it on the spot,and I walked out the door feeling VERY happy.I feel I am so lucky! To all you ladies just starting out,there is a GREAT life after BC,it's worth the wait:):) Cheers Robyn. Xox

    Thanks everyone for the lovely comments.This network is the best isn't it? I can't imagine my life without it actually.I see lots of new ladies,lately,and my heart goes out to them,especially the young ones,as I feel that they have some different issues to contend with.Lets keep on supporting each other,as we know that there is an end to treatment,and life DOES go on .To all the new ladies,BC is unique in that it affects us physically AND emotionally,inside and out! Because every part of you is affected,it seems that you will never get back to where you were.But you will,and you will most likely be better and stronger for it.Cheers Robynxox

    Hi Robyn I just logged on to write to you to ask how yesterday went and there was your blog. THAT IS GREAT NEWS ! How wonderful to hear immediately instead of waiting a week for the results. It is strange that we always get nervous before the checkups, isn't it ? You can be strong all year then the doubts suddenly creep in. I have passed my (early - this got me worried) 'annual' checkup and got the all clear for 6 months. We are the lucky ones as we still wake up each morning and are able to (mostly) keep ourselves upbeat about life. Sometimes I think that life can now throw anything at me and I will get through. Thanks for posting your happy blog. Hugs Summer :-)
