Paulan I had a mastectomy on the 10th Feb & have had a full tear in my shoulder since July ( waiting to see a specialist for the shoulder ). I mentioned it at the pre admission clinic & it was decided they would pack me full of pain killers & my shoulder felt really good after the op.
I have to have an axillary clearance on the 9TH March & they are going to give me the same treatment.
I would mention your shoulder to the anesthetist & hopefully it wont be too bad for you.
