new diagnosis
New to this so not sure if i'm in the right place. Diagnosed in October, have had 2 surgeries. Lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy and 2 weeks ago axiliary dissection. Have seen the medical oncologist and know I will have hormone therapy as oestrogen + also radiation therapy still waiting for appointment. Oncologist says my choice to have Chemo but not recommended as only 1% advantage for survival. My head says listen and follow medical advise but my gut is saying go for it, need to give an answer by next week. So confused.

- CathyMacMember@jomaree glad to hear all went well yesterday with your first chemo and I hope you are feeling ok today. I start chemo on Monday. Sending hugs❤️

Glad all went well @jomaree. Don't be surprised if you start feeling lousy over the next couple of days - it should start to pick up after that. I used to find about Day 5 or 6 I'd be feeling human again. Take the meds you need, get some exercise if you can and then veg when you need to. - Newby24Member@jomaree glad everything went well. It is quite early and sleep is not happening so I thought I would check out my friends so hope you all have a good day today everyone 👍🏼💕
- kmakmMemberGood on you @jomaree. You'll probably feel OK tomorrow and then start to feel a bit crap after that. Do some exercise and keep those fluids up. You've got this! K xox
