Hi Haley and welcome to the online network! the best place ever as far as I am concerned:)I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma,on the 2nd.September.Because mine was directly behind the nipple,I chose to have a mastectomy.A lumpectomy would have been difficult. The mastectomy was really easy, and luckily, after taking some lymph nodes,I was told it hadn't spread.I started 4 cycles of chemo on October 14th and I just finished last Monday:) I will be starting Tamoxifen on the 10th of January.Mine also was oestrogen and progesterone positive and HER2 neg.I was absolutely scared witless in the beginning, and if it hadn't been for the ladies on here,I wouldn't have managed so well.Breast cancer is very treatable these days, and you will see that if you read a lot of the blogs on here. All the best for your further treatment, and remember to come on here(24/7)whenever you need support and advice.Sending you a big hug.xoxo Robyn
