Hi and welcome to the site it can be such a hard decision. I had extensive dcis and had 2 lumpectomies and couldn't get clear margins. In the end I had a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction( tramflap). It will be 3 years this Feb lt feels like yesterday The best advice is ask questions, no question is dumb when it is your body
