Sydney together
Hi all,
how many of US will be in Sydney? We must try to snatch some time away for a drink or two. Anyone bringing their spouses? I am.
It will be fun, and exciting, and empowering!

Hope all goes well leonie ~we are all thinking of you. Sending you lots of positive vibes & looking forward to seeing you all frocked up in october.
Take care Kezz xoxo
I made it home today. Drugs are good and I must have looked the part as well "armed with a cushion" for my back. The ground staff gave me a great seat - row 3 with lots of leg room. I forgot about the back when my head "exploded" due to sinus. Feeling a bit sorry for oneself this evening. I have made arrangements to have an early CT scan (due in December) just to see what is happening. I actually think it is the Arimidex slowly "eating" away at all my "bits". I am also going to see a Chiropractor as well tomorrow. We are hoping to go away on Friday so here's hoping. What have I got to whinge about - my dear friend who has secondaries in her bones and is on some "awful shit" chemo has just said that she now has Bells Palsy. Will let you all know how I get on tomorrow. I will be asking the Radiographer as the report is not given out with the x-rays. I have already informed the receptionist at my Specialist's that a report is coming and to let me know if I need to make an early appointment. I hope not as Bill won't be able to handle any more "nasties". Thanks again girls - I appreciate your caring words and thoughts. XLeonie
How are you going Leonie? We all hope so much that you improve dramatically and quickly.
Sending a rainbow to you....xxxxx
Rest up and DO take things easy, you probably won't be doing any gardening for a bit either. I used to have a sore back at times (nothing like what you have) and I found it was my too hard bed. I am sending you daily healing thoughts, and counting the sleeps until the 24th October.

Leonie, that's not good at all !!! Here's hoping your back "comes back" (pardon the pun) very soon. We'll be like the walking wounded in Sydney, but as long as we have "friend therapy" we'll be fine. I cricked my knee the other day on the boat ... nothing a handful of pills, a few deep breaths and a few "naughty" words couldn't fix though I must admit I didn't say the naughty words out loud in public, waited till I got home.
Just as well we aren't climbing the bridge while we are there, though it's something I'd like to do but will have to wait till I'm all repaired LoL
Take care of yourself ... you are a precious person and we need your company to party in Sydney.
Luv .. Shirl x0x0x
Oh poor you Leonie.
I know you will take it easy and gently. Would back strengthening exercises help with your condition, or is it just DRUGS?? lol.
We will care for you in Sydney- we only have to prop you up at the bar, or lay you on a lounge hoho. xxx
Not good!!! You gotta get good!!!
Have you tried bowen therapy? I think you might have mentioned that you have, not sure?
